Yesterday I did my best to throw Michael overboard! We got up and decided to go ocean kayaking. We put on some extremely stylish yellow life vests and got into a kayak that is also used to serve food at the beach buffet, can you say tasty :) We then paddled out along the beach to the open water and I decided I wanted the kayak to myself, so of course Michael had to go.
Later Michael convinced me to jump out of the kayak and I detail in this video the process of getting in and out of the kayak...

Night Dive Woohoo!
So there we were...
In the dark...
Michael and I were both nervous and as part of the dive we needed to practice some underwater navigation. We start out on the dock going over the equipment (i.e. your underwater flashlight and compass) and then we practice a little out of water navigation. At this point the dive instructor tells us you're going to go underwater and do about 20 kicks out and back on a heading :::Michael some how tunes out this point::: while one person holds the compass and the other hold a flash light to light the way.
Flash forward to on boat jumping into dark water in the ocean. NOTE: don't leave your lights on while on the surface the attract jelly fish ::oh boy oh boy:: Now we drop down to about 25ft and we start our little navigation practice. Michael goes first, he's kicking and kicking and kicking and kicking and kicking and not seeming to slow down anytime soon as the instructor gets farther and farther away and it's getting darker and darker. I suddenly realize Michael might not have the same game plan so I stop him and get him to turn around. We then kick back and are relieved to find the instructor. (Later I find out Michael though we needed to go twice as far). But after that was all done we went on doing a cool night dive.
We saw a puffer fish, sting rays, lot o' sea cucumber, moray eel and lots of other cool stuff. It was great although nerve racking at first.

Dunn River Falls
Today we hiked up the Dunn River Falls in Jamaica. It was cool and refreshing, the water was a nice cool temperature and it was fun little hike. We took some cool picks along the way.
Michael is sooooooo sexy :P

And We All Float On...
At least that's what I thought and then I found out Michael didn't know how to float in the Ocean. So we had a couples clinic on floating in the ocean ;P
Looking In the Same Direction...
Last night Michael and I had our amazing candle light diner on the beach. The food was good but the company was better :) It even came with it's own custom menu but much to my chagrin it said Mr. & Mrs. Gregg. Boo Urns!
The only downside is I was attacked by chiggers and have super itchy feet now.

SCUBA Diving
So we did our second dive yesterday, it was a shipwreck dive! It was really cool and there was a giant green eel inside the ship. We then went under some rock over hangs and as we were emerging from the rock we saw big manta ray go flying by over head. It was really cool.
After the dive we found out about some other cool dives and decided to get our advanced water certification. So we have five dives to do, a shipwreck, a night dive, a deep water dive, a navigation dive, and a drift dive. Unfortunately there are no cool pictures to go along with the dive because we don't have a camera that goes to 40ft :(
